An 8-year-old who weighs 99 kilograms (more than three times the average weight for his age) may be taken from his mother if she doesn’t get him dieting and exercising.

Apparently it’s not a joke: the Conservapedia is a conservative, pro-Christian, pro-American wiki that attempts to correct Wikipedia’s “liberal bias”. It helpfully has an article showing examples of bias in Wikipedia, such as (gasp) using non-US English spelling. Personally, I like the stuff claiming that kangaroos originated on Noah’s ark in the Middle East, then migrated to Australia, possibly on raft mats made of vegetation.
