serving no useful purpose other than being decorative,
this top shaped thing adorns a new complex opposite the
GPO. What on Earth was the architect thinking, you may ask yourself. Certainly, that's what I've been wondering. Maybe he or she was just bored. |
Apparently still here mostly because the developers weren't allowed to knock it down, this 100-ish year old tower almost singlehandedly turns Melbourne Central from being just another monolithic shopping centre into something almost interesting. |
