A small cylindrical object placed inside a portable electrical device, designed to expire just at the time the device is being most useful.
A method of counting using 1s and 0s. I'm not sure why anybody would bother, but it is terribly important in computers. Actually, that's a lie. I work in computers, and it's ages since I've had to do a binary count, binary chop, use binary notation... Just don't worry about it. Of course, I could be lying just so that if I happen to find myself vying for a job with you, I have the upper edge.
