How do I know? I live in a Naval community on the west coast of Canada. (And Been there, done that, not saying anything more! It was even MORE fun when my sister, Sheila, was with us!!!!

Girls - don’t believe everything you hear, especially from a guy from another country, ESPECIALLY when the guy has been drinking!!!!

I found the Australian sailors more crude and rude. The Kiwi’s (New Zeelanders) were nicer (in general - mind you they were BOTH in port at the same time. [lots of fights!] It just might have been that they were competing for the girls??!?!?!?!). They were ALL lots of fun!!!

One thing we thought was hilarious was the nickname “Blue”! (A Redhead)

Yes is most likely was Shelia. And no its not a derogatory term. It’s just another name for the fairer female. There are many slang variations for a ugly female. But i wont got into it.
