Daniel, there’s an Iron Knob in SA. But maybe there is one in Qld too.
I’m sure there are plenty of rude place names in Oz, I seem to recall making a list with my friends at some stage, thinking along the same travel plans as Claire. Is homework for this week.

I’ve just spent two years travelling around Australia doing stand-up
comedy shows in tiny aussie country towns.
Names with sexual reference innuendo that come to mind include:
Gnowangerup (South-east W.A), Packenham Upper (outside Melbourne,
Victoria), Koolyanobbing (near Kalgoorlie, W.A), Marble Bar (near
Port Hedland, W.A), Devil’s Marbles (N.T), Come-by-Chance (Mid NSW,
near Walgett), The Entrance (Central coast, NSW), Smiggins holes
(snowfields, NSW), Woodenbong (Northern NSW, nr Casino).

Dunnydoo is how it’s pronounced, however, its spelt Dunedoo.

Wattanobbi is pronounced how it looks. Its on the nsw central coast and I have never heard it pronounced Wattanowbi. Everyone calls it the first pronunciation. I know its an aboriginal name so maybe its supposed to be called the second way but no one does. They even tried to have the name changed.

Whoever pronounces it the second way, all I can say is “what a nobby ” lol

There is a suburb somehwre in Australia and im trying to find it…not sure how its even spelt, but something like “Myas” Pronounced My ass.
So has anyone been to Myas lately?
If so can you let us know what Myas was like and if you could do U Turns while there!! lol.

You may be thinking of the Maccas add on the way into Yass, which simply has “m Yass”.
I roadtripped up the coast with an American on board, he loved Dookie and Yass - his accent helped greatly with the jokes on that one.
